{"id":2703,"date":"2015-05-18T15:53:14","date_gmt":"2015-05-18T15:53:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/turronessirvent.com\/en\/historia-de-turrones-sirvent\/"},"modified":"2023-11-22T09:56:43","modified_gmt":"2023-11-22T08:56:43","slug":"history","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/turronessirvent.com\/en\/history\/","title":{"rendered":"HISTORY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The history of our company dates back to 1920, in which <strong>Mr. Tom\u00e1s Sirvent Planelles<\/strong>, Xixona nougat manufacturer, was established in Barcelona in the Gothic Quarter of the city, in the street Freixures, next market Santa Caterina.<br \/>\nLater, in 1943, <strong>Mr. Thomas Sirvent Pla<\/strong>, son of the former, moved to the current address of our company on Parliament Street in the central Eixample Barceloni diversifying through the years our offer to get a reputation in horchata, ice cream, iced drinks and candies.<br \/>\nToday our company has a team of 12 people, to which must be added those who work in our factory in Xixona, responsible for developing handcrafted nougats we market under the name of <strong>Horchateria &#8211; Turroneria Sirvent de Barcelona<\/strong>. In this sense we offer our customers a wide range of nougat artisans.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-825\" src=\"https:\/\/turronessirvent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/historia.png\" alt=\"historia\" width=\"169\" height=\"136\" srcset=\"https:\/\/turronessirvent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/historia-147x118.png 147w, https:\/\/turronessirvent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/historia.png 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 169px) 100vw, 169px\" \/>The quality and craftsmanship have always been the hallmark of our company, so much so that nougat export to five continents, because our customers send to their relatives our products. We also prepare various batches and corporate gifts.
